Terms of Service

By creating an account, uploading content, streaming, commenting or simply browsing EThan Social ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum digital-consent age in your country) to create an account. You are responsible for the security of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Accounts are personal and may not be sold or transferred.

You agree not to use EThan Social to upload, stream, post or promote:

• Content you do not have the rights to distribute.
• Harassment, hate speech, threats or targeted abuse.
• Violent, graphic or dangerous content presented for shock value.
• Spam, scams, malware or artificially inflated engagement.
• Impersonation of another person, channel or brand.

Nudity, sexual themes, sexually explicit material and 18+ NSFW content are strictly prohibited on EThan Social in every format — full-length videos, ET Shorts, live streams and past stream archives.

There are no "mature", "18+" or "NSFW" settings on this platform, and none will be provided. Automated checks reject uploads and streams whose files, titles or descriptions indicate adult content, and our moderation team reviews reports from viewers. Violations result in immediate content removal and account termination, without refund of any pending ad revenue.

Child safety: zero tolerance. Any content that sexualises, exploits or endangers a minor triggers an instant takedown, a permanent ban of the account, and referral to the appropriate authorities.

Only upload or stream content you own or are licensed to use. Our automated systems scan uploads and live broadcasts for copyrighted material:

• Full re-uploads of copyrighted works (for example films, TV episodes, or videos lifted from other platforms) are removed automatically.
• Copyrighted music or background audio does not end a broadcast or delete a video — the affected audio section is automatically muted or stripped instead.

Rights holders may submit a DMCA notice to dmca@ethansocial.app with the work identified, the infringing URL, contact details, a good-faith statement and a signature. Repeat infringers lose their accounts. Counter-notices may be sent to the same address.

We may remove content, restrict features, suspend monetization or terminate accounts — with or without prior notice — for violations of these terms or applicable law. Prohibited adult content and child-safety violations always result in immediate, permanent termination.

Every creator can enable advertising from day one, with no subscriber or view minimums, by linking a Google AdSense Publisher ID in Monetization & Ads settings. Ads are then served against your own publisher account on your videos, ET Shorts, live streams and past stream archives.

• You are responsible for maintaining a valid AdSense account in good standing and for complying with Google's AdSense Program Policies.
• Where no publisher ID is linked, ads may be served against the EThan Social platform account.
• EThan Social applies platform host parameters for revenue sharing on ad requests served through the Service.
• Ad earnings are paid by Google directly to your AdSense account; we do not process those payments and cannot guarantee any level of revenue.
• Monetization is suspended immediately for content that breaks these terms.

You keep ownership of everything you upload. You grant EThan Social a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, transcode, display and stream your content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Service. This licence ends when you delete the content, except for copies retained in backups or as required by law.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, EThan Social is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost revenue or data arising from your use of the Service.
